DIY Micro-Monument Workshop with Artist Lisa Schumaier
Drawing inspiration from our current exhibition MICRO-MONUMENTS II: UNDERGROUND, local artist Lisa Schumaier will lead a DIY art activity where guests can create their own miniature sculptures.
Delayed Response: Curated Performances by Rex Delafkaran
In collaboration with local dancers, Rex (Alexandra) Delafkaran presents Delayed Response, a curated night of intermittent performance art and happenings created in response to the exhibitions on view at the gallery.
Performance by Jenna North’s Alter Ego Joan Dare
Joan Dare, the alter-ego of Jenna North, will host an open house for any Washington DC-based artist (or artists living within 20 miles of the DC line) to participate in a live (and filmed) portfolio review. Joan will interview artists while inquiring about and critiquing their submissions. The results of the portfolio review event will culminate in a forthcoming curated show entitled, “What Demarcates Washington DC Artists?” Details such as location and date of exhibition TBD.
