Whew. Earlier this morning we posted about the TOUS les JOURS bakery coming to Union Market. And now, BarredinDC peeped an IG post about Kneads Bakeshop coming to Logan Circle. BUT that’s not all, when you go to the Kneads’ website you see they are ALSO coming to Chevy Chase.

Pitango, “gelateria and coffee shop”, Logan Circle/14th Street Opening Date Finally Announced – This Friday!!

“Pitango Gelato, the authentic Italian gelateria and coffee shop with locations throughout the Washington, DC, region and Baltimore, is thrilled to officially announce the opening of a highly anticipated new shop along DC’s 14th Street corridor. The store, opening on February 27th at 1802 14th Street, NW, is Pitango’s eighth location. The new gelateria and coffee shop will serve freshly brewed coffee, Italian baked goods, and artisanal, hand-spun gelato made with high-quality, carefully curated ingredients. The 1,027-square-foot space, designed by EastWing Architects, will also offer indoor seating for up to 10 guests.

Logan Circle: “MPD Makes Arrest in Organized Retail Thefts – “flash mob” style”

“The Metropolitan Police Department announces an arrest in multiple retail thefts that occurred in the 1700 block of 14th Street, Northwest.

On Thursday, February 12, 2026, at approximately 11:03 a.m., a group of approximately 7 masked suspects entered a store in the 1700 block of 14th Street, Northwest. The suspects snatched multiple items in a “flash mob” style before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. (more…)
