“The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will begin construction of the deckover at Dupont Circle on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, as part of the Connecticut Avenue Streetscape and Deckover Project, weather permitting.
The new deckover will transform the space above the Connecticut Avenue underpass into a vibrant public plaza designed for strolling, relaxing, outdoor dining, working, and hosting community events. “Dear PoPville,
Have you heard any update on Duffy’s on P Street? Is it closed forever or might it reopen soon? There’s nothing on their website or at the pub itself. Thanks!”
Still dark over there. Still crickets. Anyone hear anything? Think they’ll ever reopen or was the closure “temporary” after all?
