A reader asks:

“We were approached about renting our garage. I have no clue what appropriate rent would be and would love to get some input from your readers.”

Hmm, there is plenty of street parking where I live so I don’t think there’d be a premium on renting out a garage. But if parking is tight I’d guess you could ask $250 a month? Of course if you are in Dupont you could probably ask much more. What do you guys think is a fair price?

You guys are phenomenal. First there was yesterday’s amazing reader submitted album cover and today a reader sends a truly uncanny look alike of Mayor Fenty.

The reader writes:

“I had to do a double take when I saw this guy…
The ambassador of United Arab Emirates, whose name is Yousef Al Otaiba, is identical to Adrian Fenty.
Peep the pic and judge for yourself.”

What do you guys think – a pretty good match? Or are we just being baldists?

Those who have walked up 14th Street on the way to the Red Derby have probably noticed the huge apartment building that has had scaffolding up for quite a while. Well, the scaffolding has finally come down, and I think they did a really nice job. Added some sweet balconies. Anyone remember what it looked like before the repairs? I really think they did a great job.

Even though I call this mural of the day, it is really rare for me to find so many sweet murals over one weekend. Upshur Park, by the by, has a swimming pool that I’m most definitely going to have to check out when it gets warmer.

I think you can tell from this photo but this bird is huge. I’m wondering what the thought process is when deciding to put it in the middle of your lawn? We got some mythological action going on here?

I like stumbling upon these mini houses. I think this one is actually a business. Though now that I look at the picture again, the house on the left is pretty sweet too. I like that one window that sticks up above the roof. This is from Georgetown.
