Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Hey, everybody – meet JJ! As you can see, he is a well-behaved boy with beautiful butterscotch fur (and matching eyes!) who’s looking for his forever home. JJ came from an outdoor pen where he was not treated very well, but he is adjusting quickly to living inside, cuddling, playing with kids and other dogs, and living the good life! This approximately 4-year-old lab mix is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, he is a belly rub-loving, snuggling at bedtime sweetheart! He is crate-trained and is working on leash training as well. JJ is a gentle soul, and would do best in a home with another calm dog to help him build his confidence – he doesn’t much like roughhousing – he’s a lover, not a wrestler! Find out more about adopting this wonderful guy here.

Hello everyone! This is Sara Lee, a 4-year-old black beauty looking for the perfect lap to call her own! She can be a little bit shy and timid at first, but she loves to be in the presence of her people, and will do well in a calm home, perhaps even with another mellow kitty. Sara Lee is very gentle and would thrive in a quiet environment, where she can become more confident with time. If you’re interested in finding out more about Sara Lee, please visit here.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
