Back in the day, I’d say it was outdoor porch drinking or outdoor patio/roof decks opening around town. But in a sign that I’ve gotten old – it’s bringing the house plants outside. I kid you not, that’s all I’m thinking about lately. God I’ve become very boring. Well, I still like roof deck drinking but it feels like they’ve all been covered up anyway so they can be used year round. I digress. What most signals spring has finally come to you? Cherry Blossoms/other blossoms blooming? Baseball in the air? Allergies? Switching winter/spring clothes? Bicycling more? Eating outside? Outdoor movie series starting? Outdoor concerts starting? The PoP Peep project? Gardening? What am I missing?

Soup Up is delicious and healthy and the owner was so nice. Donna started off Union Market and makes a few special soups a day. She left my friend and I try all of them and we got chili fiesta, and delicious accident. It’s right by ANXO and decorated to be light and airy. She makes tea and is planing to have juices and a brunch in the coming weeks.
I will definitely be back and you should check it out too! Kennedy street is looking great!”

13th and K Street, NW
At a regularly-scheduled February 28 meeting, architect Gretchen K Pfaehler of Beyer Blinder Belle told
a committee of Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 2F/Logan Circle that the “groundbreaking” for the Planet Word Museum would be May 4. The word “groundbreaking” was used metaphorically, as Pfeahler had just finished briefing the committee about the efforts to keep the building as unchanged as possible while still allowing it to fulfill its future function as a museum of linguistics.
