From an email:

“The Pride Pils will debut at a “Yappy Hour” on the patio at Town (2009 8th St, NW) on June 7th, including prizes for best rainbow or unicorn PET costume.”

And the full press release:

Pilsners are quickly becoming a favorite style among craft beer drinkers in the States. Since introducing BRAU PILS into its lineup of year-round offerings in 2015, DC Brau’s take on a German-style Pilsner has eclipsed its flagship Citizen Belgian Pale Ale as its third best-selling brand with even stronger sales projections for 2017.

“We have seen drastic growth, especially in the on-premise sector over the past year, for Pils,” says Co-founder & CEO Brandon Skall. “It’s been my everyday beer since we added it to the lineup and I don’t see that trend ending anytime soon.”

The Brau Pils, which recently was awarded the silver medal in the German-style Pilsner category at the Los Angeles International Commercial Beer Competition between Weihenstephan Pilsner & Firestone Walker Brewing’s Pivo, incorporates Hallertau Tradition hops and a German heirloom malt variety produced by world-renowned malster, Weyermann.

“We chose to swap out the domestically-grown base malt we used in the original recipe, which was the missing piece of the puzzle that took Brau Pils to the next level,” says Head Brewer & President Jeff Hancock. “The only non-imported ingredient for this recipe is good old DC water.”

This June, 700 cases of Brau Pils will be repackaged as PRIDE PILS in cans designed by Josette Matoto that will be available throughout Washington, DC for the annual Capital PRIDE festival. All proceeds from the sale of the special golden unicorn cans will benefit local LGBTQ youth empowerment program, SMYAL (smyal.org), and The Washington Blade Foundation (www.washingtonbladefoundation.org), which is dedicated to preserving the Blade’s legacy while funding new enterprise journalism projects and encouraging the next generation of LGBT journalists. Retailers who have not reserved cases of the special cans should contact their Premium Distributors representative or Chris Wilson at DC Brau.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
