From Wonderland:

Kick off the summer season with the Wonderland Ballroom’s 13th Annual Sundress Festival!

Long understood to be the best damned block party in DC, we’ll be raising money again this year to help our friends at DC Central Kitchen with all the amazing work they do!

In anticipation of this being the very best Sundress ever, we’ve ordered three swimming pools’ worth of beer compared to last year’s two. In addition to the normal madness, this year’s festivities include:

* Live music with:
The Loving Paupers
The Fuss
Party Like It’s

*Gawking at strangers wearing stunningly visually offensive ensembles!

*Alternating moments of panic and transcendence as you contemplate what your eight-year-old self would make of your current state of affairs!

*The Annual King & Queen competition!

*An insane dance party with DJ KeenanOrr!

All this for a $5 donation for DC Central Kitchen,and if you don’t have a dress we’ll be selling them for a $15 donation as well.

Get your Sundress Fest moves ready, and may God have mercy on all our souls!
