    For lovers of earth tones…

  • wdc

This is a phenomenal deal at that price, no? Meaning that it will settle way over $2M.
I love it. It’s pretty much my DC dream house, even with the lackluster kitchen.

  • LedroitTigah

I love it!!! a bit surprised by how narrow the house is, though – but its still GORGEOUS. All those period details! sigh…

    • Bobert

I think that’s the result of such close integration with the neighboring homes.

    This looks very nice.
I have some minor quibbles with it — I don’t like all the exposed brick, and some of the backsplashes are a bit busy for my taste — but in the fantasy land where I could buy a place for $2M, I’d take this house. (I would also like a fantasy escalation clause so I wouldn’t lose out in a bidding war.)

      I spied a vessel sink…

      • textdoc

        I must’ve missed it!

      • Ben

I would also guess in textdoc’s fantasy land s/he would have the power to change all vessel sinks at the blink of an eye.

        • textdoc

Or just loads of $$$ to get someone to change them out for me.

          • idontgetit

I was going to suggest burning down any house with such an abomination but then realized the vessel sink would be one of the few things to survive.

        • Idontgetit

          Or just bulldoze the house.

          • textdoc

That would be throwing out the baby with the… vessel sink.

      • soozles

I was just about to say don’t let textdoc see that vessel sink or all bets are gonna be off…

        • textdoc

          Actual LOL, Soozles!!

  • Bloomy

    Good deal!

  • chasscott

Gotta love that “townhouse” was translated into New Yorkese “brownstone” for all the new New Yorker Trumpies!

    • Blithe

Or maybe it’s intended to allude to the style of the house and the materials used — to differentiate this house from the brick row houses that are more common in DC.
