Thanks to a reader for passing on from VIDA yesterday afternoon:

“Thank you very much for your patience today while we worked to recover from a fire overnight as quickly as possible!

Late last night, we suffered a fire in our laundry room after the club closed, close to midnight. We are very thankful that NO VIDA Team members, Fire Fighters or Building Management and Residents were injured! Everyone is safe.

We will remain closed today. [Ed. Note: Monday] Below is a bullet list of things you can expect tomorrow…

· Our Tuesday hours will be 7am-11pm. Our normal hours thereafter

· There will be no Fuel Bar service available tomorrow

· KidsZone will be closed tomorrow due to damage

· Group Fitness Studio will be closed indefinitely for repairs. I will have more information in the coming days. We hope to get this studio back as quickly as possible

· Aura Spa will be closed tomorrow

· Please plan for us not to have towel service available tomorrow. This is depending on repairs to the laundry room equipment

· The internal elevator may not be working. This also depends on repairs

· Penthouse Pool Club will operate as normal

Again, we are very grateful to all of you who wished us well and sent messages hoping that no one was injured! We are looking forward to getting back to full speed as quickly as possible!

If the above items are an inconvenience for you, all VIDA locations will be allowing access to Yards members should you wish to visit another location.

Thank you very, very much!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
