From a press release:

“The Dolcezza Gelato Factory and Coffee Lab re-opens its doors for the season Today, April 14th. Since its opening three years ago in March 2014, the retail portion of the DC Gelato maker’s hub closes during the winter, and re-opens upon the start of spring.

This time, the Factory opens with a new addition: Milkshakes. The drinks all have a gelato base, and some are inspired by flavors or copettas (gelato sundaes) guests have already enjoyed at our various locations. The opening menu of milkshakes ($8 each) includes:

Lemon Pound Cake
Lemon pound cake pieces, meyer lemon sherbert, whipped cream, candied lemon zest

Coffee & Cookies
Stumptown Hair Bender espresso gelato, stracciatella-covered biscoff cookies, whipped cream

Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Vietnamese cinnamon gelato, Cinnamon Toast Crunch pieces, whipped cream, cinnamon powder

The Factory is the only location to find milkshakes, and there may be new flavors or menu changes in the future.

In addition to milkshakes, the cafe will continue to offer coffee service and gelato. Because guests are enjoying Dolcezza at the source, the gelato at this location is served shortly after it is spun, and the menu features our greatest hits and newest flavors. For our opening weekend, that menu includes:

Gelato
Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Indonesian Vanilla Bean, Coffee & Cookies, Vietnamese Cinnamon

Sherbert
Meyer Lemon

Sorbet
Clementine, Grapefruit Hibiscus

The Dolcezza Gelato Factory also retails pints and push pops of our gelato and sorbet, Stumptown Coffee, Paisley Fig snacks, and Dolcezza merchandise when available.

HOURS: Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday

11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.”
