“I am doing a book for my nieces and nephews about their grandmother who passed away before they were born and would love to have some illustrations done to go along with the book. Does anyone have any interest or know of someone? I am open on the price range. Would love to have this done by September if possible. Hired a writer a few years ago so the story parts are done.”

Look up Elizabeth Graeber (should be top google hit). Assuming she has time, I think her style would work great for a kids book.

My friend Alia has done some cool work around town, including the upstairs art at Duke’s Grocery. Not sure if her work is what you’re looking for, but it’s awesome nonetheless. http://alia-akhtar.com/

You could also try reaching to Leo Lechtenberg, if you like his style. He may be available and interested.

You might also try e-mailing art teachers at local schools.

You can also try Fiverr.com. Works well to find a freelancer.

  • I am an art teacher and artist. I would love to attempt to do the illustrations for a book. Though it would be a first for me. My price range would be low because it is new for me. You could also turn down whatever I produce.
