I have no sense of what is a “good deal” in that price range. Kitchen is underwhelming, but that outdoor space – wow!

If you’re buying a house in this price range, then the kitchen is of secondary concern. After all, you’re not the one cooking.

Would you really want to embarrass yourself in front of the help?

  • Anon

I can see myself getting f*cked in a place like this.

Whats weird is how they’ve not posted photos of most of the house. Per the floor plan, there’s none of the master bedroom suite, the third floor in its entirety, and most of the basement (“staff quarters”). Very bizarre.

Not sure why, but the 3d tour has all the floors. I know its not for everyone but I love the wall paper in the basement (though I would have kept it to just the bathroom).

That kitchen is seriously underwhelming for the price! The flooring and counters both look outdated!
Also – are there two dishwashers nearly right next to each other?

    • Anonymous

Double dishwashers are a thing. A family member has this in their house and they have a young family – it’s super useful to be able to run two or have one open while the other is running/waiting to be unloaded.

You’d also have them in kosher kitchens I think but doesn’t look to be the case here.

      • PetlessInPetworth

Ah – I guess that makes sense if you have a family of…at least 5/6, I would think! Looks a bit odd here, though. Maybe it’s just the arrangement.

We’re a family of seven, and we do just fine on one dishwasher… I’m guessing this is for either entertaining purposes or to allow for the flexibility of a kosher kitchen (two sinks too).

I used to work in catering. We’d see the double dishwasher in these types of large houses who host a lot of big parties/ fundraisers/ events.

As a family of 5 I would personally love double dishwashers but it is just not in the cards for our little middle class lifestyle.

If I had two dishwashers in my tiny place, all of my cabinet space would be dishwasher :)

Perhaps the two dishwashers are for keeping-kosher purposes? I see there are two kitchen sinks as well.
