“I have a friend coming into town over New Year’s, and I am looking for good NYE suggestions. I have been in DC for ~5 years, but either been out of town or done something quiet at home. We are not interested in a big mega-party or club event. So: Are there any restaurants that have especially interesting NYE specials? Any artsy events? Good places for a quieter but still special celebratory evening?
Thanks for any suggestions!”
