My family stayed in the carriage house recently – rented from VRBO. It’s a huge house. I think it’s kind of cheap for that much property.

Ok, that’s got to be the most god-awful vesel sink ever!

The outdoor spaces are amazing. That wood bathroom, however, is not.

I love walking past this place. So cool to see what it looks like inside. It’s a steal at that price.

    those porches tho

  • Rich

    Too much bordello baroque.

That seems to be mostly in the furniture and decor, not the bones of the house. Change out a bunch of bathroom sinks, lighting fixtures, furniture, and those ridiculous interior columns, and you’d have a decent B&B. Like most B&B’s it could also use a wholesale change of furniture, rugs, and curtains in the guest rooms to take it into the modern era. Then it could be a decent B&B (even the kind without the second B) – I’m guessing the prices one can charge here, given high hotel prices, are much better than in many place such that one could make a profit running such a place here – if the place looked and was run like an upscale inn, not your typical B&B neglected pile of someone’s poor taste. You’d need that to distinguish your place from all the Air B&B places people are renting out in their own homes, or their apartments, but without the additional services a place in the hotel business provides.

I loooove this house. Love it every time I walk past.

Love this house! I’ve got major porch envy and courtyard envy. I’m wondering, though, if those interior columns can be removed?
