  • This is a cool house and, given the prices of houses that have sold within a 1-block radius, I suspect it will go for well over the asking price. A now-older couple has lived in this house for many years and has kept it up nicely though I wonder how much deferred maintenance there is.

Very cool, though the roof ridge seems to be sagging.

  • Super good deal. I wonder what’s wrong with it.

Inbounds for Hearst and not Murch

Speaking as a Hearst parent (so there’s definitely some bias there), Hearst is an awesome school. The new renovations are gorgeous and the small classes/small number of classes per grade means the kids don’t feel lost in the shuffle. We’ve been really pleased with our experience so far.

Right. I would choose a renovated school that feeds into Deal over an unrenovated school that feeds into Deal.

Murch is a more desired landing spot, renovations or not

  • Trip Throckmorton

I fell asleep looking at the photos. Bland, but fully of potential.

Termite and structural damage to the garage, roof that will need replacement in 5 years, kitchen and bathrooms not renovated since the 80s, mostly unfinished basement. And not in bounds for Murch or Janney.
