International Scout II Looks to be in great condition with very little rust, probably worth a pretty penny. It always amazed me how many old-school offroad vehicles are parked on the street in DC. Then again, if I worked from home or didn’t have to car commute to work, I would have kept my modded Cherokee for an indestructible city vehicle.
I think it was an International Scout III
Super cool. Examples of this thing with seemingly original paint that aren’t rusted to pieces are extremely rare. Back when these things were new, it wasn’t unusual for them to start rusting after just a couple of years, if they were driven in areas with snowy winters.
I had 2 of these about 10 years ago, I loved them. They are even better when you take the hard top off. But as others have pointed out rust is a huge problem.
