Since when is “trendy” in houses a complement?

    • ColHeist

I believe they mean the neighborhood is trendy, not the home itself.

Now *that* is a beautiful house and property.

  • blue peter

    I want this house :-|

  • AMDCer

If I had $1.85M, I’d say good deal.

  • TX2DC

Needs big, dramatic columns out front to be worth 1.8 mil, IMHO. :-)

  • [rrrrr]

How much for just the kitchen. That would make me soooo happy.

  • GBinCH

This was an attractive house before someone added that bay window. Yuck.

    • AMDCer

Agreed – that just looks wrong.

      • blue peter

what’s wrong with the bay window?

        • Maybe

I feel the bay window would look more attractive if it had panes instead of one giant piece of glass. Would fit more with the rest of the windows and look a little higher end.

        • ET

I think that originally the front was designed to be symmetrical and the bay window throws that symmetry out of whack.

        • GBinCH

It’s the lack of symmetry that throws me off. I like bay windows on some houses – there’s a nice one on 11th just north or Cardozo HS – but this one just makes the house too lopsided.
I also agree with Maybe that it would be better with panes.

Great house, but Forest Hills is hardly a “trendy” neighborhood.

    • textdoc

Agreed. I suspect thesaurus abuse here.

    I waaant.

Forest Hills is trendy if you are the owner of a hedge fund company and your spouse is a corporate attorney!
