Colonials must be really hot in real estate right now, because agents love sticking that label on everything.

    • Grace

Yeah, considering that it’s an American Foursquare…

      • JS

For real – this is *THE* classic foursquare type. It’s not even close to being a “colonial.”

  • spookiness

Every real estate agent (or anyone) should spend $30 and get A Field Guide to American Houses by Virginia & Lee McAlester. Just because something is old doesn’t make it “colonial”.

Who needs parking for 4 or 5 cars in the city?! What could be a nice backyard is a giant parking pad. Looks kinda ridiculous.

    • CHGal

Yeah, this would be great space for a nice porch or backyard. All that concrete is tough on the eyes.

    • annonny

Somebody looking to rent the place as a group house?

    • Petworth_dude

Could build a garage with in the back with a studio or one bedroom aparment on the second level as an income producing unit.

Depending on what percentage of the lot the house currently occupies, building an additional structure might not be possible.

  • Anonomnom

Foursquare vs Colonial… Either way, I like the inside and that front porch! The backyard hurts, though. A lot. Would have to completely break it up and redo it before I could consider this place.
