If the Metro shower curtain conveys, I’m saying good deal :-)

Seriously, a beautiful property, if a bit too modern for my tastes.

  • Wow, so many nice things about this place. Hard to believe it’s even in DC. Is this pre-fab?

  • dcreal

all its missing is a pool…but I’ll take it as is.

  • stunning!

Well, it’s the $500 credit at settlement that sells this place. Otherwise there is no way I could afford it.

    • cross

      Ha! Had the same thought.

A bit too bright on the inside but nothing I can’t fix. Great house, anyone got 2 mil they can lend me?

  • KSB

What a thoroughly delightful place! I’d imagine there aren’t many comps for it, so it’s just a matter of the right buyer connecting at that price point.

that patio… those views. so so nice. I can just imagine sitting in that living room overlooking rock creek during the winter watching the snow fall – or having dinner parties on the deck during the spring. Granted, I would need 5 other people to move in with me and split the rent 6 ways to even remotely afford it.

Too contemporary for my taste but it is gorgeous. Love all the windows and the decks.

  • stcohi

Wait, a $500 credit if the settlement is at KVS? Sold!

ugh i love this. would maybe make a few decorating changes (the marble floors are a tad too American Psycho) but what a gorgeous and unique home. this is one of the most lovely neighborhoods in the city imo.

Do you hate that shrill direct mail that your parents receive every political cycle? Yeah? Well this is the house that all of that fundraising built: http://digital.modernluxury.com/publication/?i=140768&p=64

    • Oh_Sweet_Thing

LOL You’re right, let’s burn it down.

Better yet, put them on all of mailing lists!

very cool. What is that wooden structure at the end of the photos? Is that a playhouse??

So how soon can I move in

  • Rich

Really unique. the only drawback is the skylights–I can just imagine they’ll all start leaking at the same time. I also wonder how well the skylights and forest canopy work in terms of passive solar heating w/o turning into major a/c expenses.
