What is Wagshals? I obviously could look it up, but using words that people have to go look up might not be the best strategy for an ad.

Anyone already living in the general area would know what it is, but you’re right, if you’re coming from farther away or out of state you probably wouldn’t know. That has always annoyed me in real estate ads.

A place that sells overprices sandwiches to people that live in upper NW.

        • Also one of the best butcher shops in the city.

  • KSB

I totally read this as having “Kosher sinks” and thought that was an interesting new trend… oy!

If you want to live WotP because of schools, you can probably find something closer to the Metro for that price – especially since the finishes on this unit are nothing special. If you do not care about schools, there are many better options out there.

Within this building this unit is priced high. If you wait for a non-corner unit with less windows and no balcony then you can get a two-bed one-bath for under $350K.

If you could negotiate this down to $390-400K, I’d say it’s a deal. Lovely balcony and TONS of light in the corner unit. I like it! Is this co-op or a condo? I’d probably want to know more info about what’s included in the monthly fee and the financials of the building.

    • Used to live there

I used to live there and the condo fee covers all utilities, pool costs, and a 24 hour front desk. It was a nice place to live but not sure it would be worth the condo fee as an owner.

  • Calling something “eco-friendly” because it has bamboo blinds is a bit odd.

  • 17thSter

I have friends in the building and the pool has structural problems. It won’t be open this year.

Any special assessment or fee hike (from the already astronomical $766/month) on the horizon to fix the pool?
