Man, it doesn’t get any more perfect then that. I’d make changes on the interior but that’s a dream house.

  • Anony

That price seems reasonable until you notice that doesn’t have central heating–you can see the radiators in many of the photos.

      radiators are central heating

      • KenyonDweller

True, and it does seem to have central air. You can see the registers in several photos.

    • Anonymous

Radiator heat is FAR superior to forced air (imho) as it does not dry out the air.

      • AE

Agree – I would never swap out my radiators for another heating system.

Agree, except for the space issue. Big house like this, no problem. Little house like mine, I don’t want to give up even the three square feet per room.

omg. am i dreaming? because thats my dream home. wowzers!!!!

  • That’s a very nice house. Not my style but still very pretty.

  • Anonymous

    Stunning home!!!!

Great exterior – garage, huge car pad, massive slate deck with outdoor fireplace, tons of grass to play on. Jeez, that’s epic. I’d add a huge hot tub and call it a day.

Also, I am going to say this is a really really good deal. 3/4 acre lot in a very nice part of the city with an outstanding classic house on it.
    .
Seriously, that is a MASSIVE lot. Elsewhere west of the park, that lot would have three houses crammed onto it.

    • CPT_Doom

I was shocked to see the lot described as only 3/4 of an acre. It seems much larger, and they don’t even mention the three-car garage/carriage house in the listing. I’m calling my banker right now to make sure I have enough liquid reserves to pick this one up – not.

  • AMDCer

    Drool….

  • But where are the servant’s quarters?

    • Anonymous

They appear to be above the garage. No joke . . .

      • Anonymous

Right behind the basketball hoop. Cringe.

  • Curious why the RE agent would call an urban dwelling a “farmhouse.” Anyway, it was built in 1914 at a cost of $7,000 for E.E. Murray. It was designed by Frederick B. Pyle.
