“What are some of your favorite grab-n-go / relatively inexpensive restaurants in the city? I’ve been in DC for just over a year and I haven’t yet found a full roster of consistent go-to places to grab dinner after work (typically between 8 and 9PM). To give some context: I live just east of the H St Corridor and work downtown – so places between Foggy Bottom and the Unsafeway would work best. My current rotation includes:
Asia 54 (but I’m currently on sushi overload)
Indigo (LOVE it but can’t convince SO more than once every couple of weeks)
Beau Thai (good and convenient-ish)
Taste of Jamaica (yummy but unpredictable hours)
Any suggestions?”
