  1. Those two silly little dormers make it look like a face!

  2. Rock cladding and vinyl siding: a winning combination.

  3. The inside is nice enough, though very bland. But the outside – that is fugly, and kinda’ weird-looking!

  4. wow…that’s a flipper-tastic house. The old tiny bungalow still visible on streetmaps is quite bit smaller…looks like they added a wing there. Seems like a real candidate for a tear down, not a pop-up(out). It’s nice that it’s so close to a park, but yeesh…that’s a clear sign of a bubble to me!

  5. ..it’s not that nice of a park. Mostly wooded, lot’s of homeless folks/drugs/sex in there.

  6. Look at google maps and you will see what it looked like before the renovation!

  7. “Renovation” is putting it lightly …

  8. This Old House used to have a “remuddling” page. I nominate this monstrosity.

  9. Cute house, WAY overpriced.

  10. I agree with others. The roof looks out of proportion since the expanded it. I actually don’t think it’s that overpriced. It has a garage. I still think it’s ugly though. It will still probably sell without trouble though.

  11. The seller should rethink some of those stupid photos. The cold water faucet handle is not going to sell the place.

  12. The interior is very nice.

  13. Barbara Jackson

The art of the landscape offers four-seasons of durable plants and shurbs.

  14. This great Woodridge community is a slice of surburia in Washington, DC, quiet with well maintained farmhouses, bungalow and Colonial detached-style homes with yards and porches and well-manicured lawns and gardens with home grown vegetables, etc.

  15. The market it white-hot now, so I’m sure this won’t last. I checked out the interior during the preview last weekend – very tastefully done. Great finishes, lots of light, with a bathroom on every level. It’s also a really nice side street. I’m seeing Under Contract signs for houses all along South Dakota Avenue. I’d pick this, over a house on a busy thoroughfare.
