This 5 bed/5 bath is going for $1,895,000.

  • Beautifully laid out house… One complaint though, the yellow and green interior paint… A little too colorful for my taste.

A few hundred dollars to have your decorator repaint a few rooms should be no barrier to someone who can afford this house.

  • Definitely looks like it’s in great condition. Although for nearly $2M the kitchen and bathrooms are a bit bland in my opinion. Also, where’s this garden they speak of? Just looks like a nice porch with no greenery.

  • I feel like I’m a broken record… for over a million I expect a much nicer kitchen! Nor much of a dining room either.

I guess if you’re that rich you’re not doing the cooking anyway.

Lol @ “for over a million I expect a nicer kitchen.”

Every rowhome in the city west of 9th Street costs over a million. They don’t all have nice kitchens. And they get snatched up in a day.

        • perhaps but closer to 2 million I still stand by my statement…

Is it the angle, or is that dining room eensy-weensy? I like to entertain; I’d need DR space for 8, or 12 when I put the leaves in my table.

according to the listing activity, it has been listed and delisted months later multiple times the past few years.

  • With all of the room they had toward the back of the house, it’s a shame they’ve crammed a dining “room” into what was originally the entry hall. The original dining room was obviously were the kitchen is now.

who the hell can afford these homes?

“DC is Hollywood for ugly people.”

    • A quick search on Redfin for homes sold over $1M, $2M, etc will show you that quite a lot of people can.
