Listed District’s Phenomenal Finds Vol. 4 – Church Pews

Ellen Richardson, a graphic designer and Pleasant Plains resident, recently took her Craigslist hunting skills to the next level with the launch of her blog, Listed District. Listed District offers daily DC Craigslist findings of everything from Mid-Century and Industrial furniture, to bikes and the utterly strange.  Every week Ellen is going to share a roundup of some Phenomenal Finds with PoPville.

“A take on the bench at the dining table, church pews immediately impart a feeling of age and architectural weight. And the right pew, pulled up to a big dining room table, can act as a solid bench or banquette.”

These words of wisdom from theKitchn bring us to today’s Listed District Phenomenal Finds. From rustic to glam, Craigslist has some pretty swanky church pew options available this week. Aside from kitchen table seating, I’ve seen pews used in foyers and porches. I’d love to add one to my mudroom, as a place to throw dirty boots and coats.
