“I am very happy to team up with my dad in this new culinary project,” said Miguel Guerra. “We wanted to do something different and special yet highlighting our cultural roots. Donuts are comforting, tasty, and as varied as people are, so we thought this would be fun. Currently operating in a ghost kitchen in the Union Market District, Donisima is a modern artisanal donut shop taking the classic donut to a completely new level. Next time you’re at the Looking Glass Lounge at Georgia and Princeton I insist you get this. For $6 get a Berry Shortcake made up of raspberry, blackberry, whipped cream and a fresh biscuit. I don’t even really like desserts and I ate it in about 32 seconds.
