I have two 90 capsule sealed bottles of Apocaps that I will donate to a dog with cancer. My holistic vet prescribed these for my dog with prostate cancer and he did well for a couple years. He has passed and had a good life. The expiration for both bottles is July 2016. This is a supplement for dogs with cancer or a compromised immune system. [email protected]
Looking for a cosmetic surgeon for ptosis (drooping eyelid) in DC, MD or VA.
Need a chiropractor. Metro accessible would be great…thanks.
My neighbor is rehabbing their row house . We share a wall. During their demolition it was discovered my stove vent extends into their property about three inches. The vent needs to be moved to work with their renovation. They say it is my responsibility to move vent and pay the cost. Vent has been there since I purchased house 20 years ago. Never knew it extended into their property, neither did they until walls open up. Who should pay?
Karl Racine for attorney general signs have shown up on my block. On every telephone and light pole, in my front yard (didn’t ask for or give permission) and stapled to some trees on the strip between street and sidewalk. Is there an election sign limit on residential streets? I’m sure using trees on the strip is a no-no.
90% affordable and 10% market rate. The Department of General Services hosted a meeting on Sept 9 and presented DCHA’s redevelpment consideration for the Hebrew home site on Spring Rd. 200 units of which 90% will be affordable. This does not reflect what the residents close by supported. 70% of respondents to a survey want 75-100% of the units at market rate and 0-25% as affordable. Why such an unbalance in this large redevelpment?
I came across this listing at 10th and V St NW– and all I can think is who oh who approved this!
I feel terrible for the neighbors…and confused as to who thought this was a good idea. What the Pop up?
Any news on what is happening with the Caffritz “Art Place” property in Ft. Totten? The retail and apartment developments keep getting put on hold. Considering the property is walking distance to three metro lines, I don’t understand the hesitation to build.
While driving , how am I suppose to make a right turn from a street with a bike lane? I’m very cautious sharing the road with bike riders but had a near miss recently.
Now that spring has sprung I have to deal with my absentee neighbor’s late night grass cutting. He has a handyman who shows up between 8pm and 11pm to cut his grass. He really does cut the grass in the dark. It is a disturbance late in the evening when windows are open or you want to relax on your porch. I’ve tried to talk to the handyman but he is always intoxicated and the absentee owner could care less. Can’t find anything online about hours of grass cutting. I would appreciate any feedback. Also the intoxicated grass cutter is here every week…sometimes twice.
What am I allowed to plant, or not plant, in the grassy area in front of my house between the sidewalk and street. In the summer it is more like a weed-filled-crab grassy area. I would like remove the grass and plant anything that is low maintenance.
I have a contractor that does decent work. He charges by the hour not by the job. $100 an hour. He does do plumbing, electrical, demolition, renovations. Works by himself and at times does take too long to finish a job. I’ve used and trusted him for several years but lately I feel I’m overpaying. What is the average hourly rate here in DC? Should I be paying by the job and not by the hour?
I have a large dead tree on my property in Logan Cirlcle. I need a service to cut down and remove. Any recommendations and what the cost might be?
