Was your light blue vintage 10-speed bike stolen?

mlc

Found a light blue, vintage 10-speed bike in the alley in front of my garage last night. I’m pretty sure it was stolen, the tossed. If it’s yours, please respond with description of identifying features. Marian

Is it a Fuji Palisades with white handlebar grips (and actually a 12 speed)?

No, sorry. The bike has a sticker on it with the name of the bike store where it was purchased, if that helps.

Is it a Schwinn Traveler? Rack mounted above the back tire?

YES, mine was stolen from right at Dupont Circle on the night of 3/13.  Light blue Trek road bike with Shimano Ultegra components and a Sigma taillight.  The dealership sticker was from St. Louis, MO.  If you’ve got it, please do message me!

Sorry – it is not a Trek. It is a Schwinn but there’s no rack.

It’s long shot as mine was stolen over a month ago, but if it is a Schwinn Traveler (I think it’s a Traveler III; I know it’s from 1979 because it belonged to my aunt) that looks like this: http://schwinncruisers.com/catalogs/images/1979_schwinn_approved_traveler.jpg it might be mine. The rack over the back tire would be pretty easy to remove from the seat post – it was just a cheap one I bought at Target.

The one I found is a Schwinn World Sport, not a Traveler. Sorry!
