Help Find Gavin a Good Home
I am sending this special Animal Fix in hopes that by getting his name and picture out, it will help him get adopted. His name is Gavin and he’s a three/four year old Beagle mix, rescued last year from a kill shelter. He has been living in doggy daycare since July, which is a very long time, and really needs a forever home. The poor guy goes to adoption events every single weekend and watches as lots of other dogs around him get to go to their new families, but he just has to go back to daycare and wait. He is the sweetest pup, full of love and will become your shadow (in a good way) as soon as you bring him home. He’s a cuddler, who LOVES toys, loves going on walks and is really good with other dogs. The issue is that he is not good with kids or cats, which is what they attribute the difficulty in getting him adopted to. But the bottom line is that there are lots of homes out there that don’t have kids or cats that would be lucky to have this guy a part of. If any readers are interested in finding out more about Gavin, call or stop by Wagtime (9th & N Street, NW 202-789-0870). They all love him there and would be happy to tell you more about him. Please spread the word to anyone you know looking to adopt a sweet dog.
