Does anyone know of a good place to purchase bird feeders/supplies in the DC area?

I’ve already been to Home Depot and Lowes, looking for better quality, more selection, etc..

There are several Wild Bird Center stores scattered around the area. (The company originated in Cabin John.)  Check the store locator page for one that’s convenient to you:  http://www.wildbird.com/franchises

Petco in Cleveland Park, located in the gated min-mall on the east side of Connecticut Avenue. Petco has everything for pets under one “roof, roof!” I got a birdfeeder there recently, and bird seed.

Check out the shop at the Audubon Naturalist Society in Chevy Chase. The store has a better selection of feeders and bird seed than local pet/hardware stores, and proceeds support their programs. Bird seed is on sale through the end of February. http://www.audubonnaturalist.org/index.php/support-ans/shop.
