The DC Public Library has partnered with the DC Public Library Foundation to host the DC Author Festival (DCAF). The District of Columbia Public Library Foundation (Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that enhances DC Public Library resources and programs to promote, in all community members, literacy and a thirst for knowledge. Funds raised by the Foundation go to the sole support of the DCPL.
DCAF is a public celebration of contemporary authors who live in Washington, DC. Enjoy readings, workshops, and over 70 local author and publisher vendor booths. The festival contains vending and exhibiting tables where authors and publishers may promote or sell their works to the public, public readings by local authors, and special keynote presentations. A registration fee as described below will be charged to each vendor. The registration fee will be donated to the DC Public Library Foundation to support the work of the library.
