Some poor sap put his computer on the top of his car and drove off. It flew of his car at the intersection of Mass and 6th NW. I picked it up – if you lost your Macbook, let me know! It covered with stickers, in a black case, and had a land survey in the case as well.
Hello PoPville readers,
Writing on the off chance that anyone might have picked up, seen, or heard anything about a lost shoe (Reebok CrossFit Nano sneaker, Women’s size 7.0, mint/white with gray shoelaces), unwittingly dropped approximately one week ago from an accidentally unzipped bag, somewhere along 14th St NW between Rhode Island and R St.
The solemate of the sneaker pictured here is missed very, very much, and its owner would greatly appreciate it if anyone might have any leads. No questions asked if returned!
Please email [email protected] with any information.
Thank you in advance!
Found a black iPhone 4 this morning at the corner of North Cap and Longfellow, NW. Dropping it off at the 4D station on Georgia if anyone knows the owner.
At approximately 6 am this morning, I was crossing the street at 13th and R St. NW and noticed a belt clip (see photo) with a substantial number of keys (11) that had been clipped to the top of a traffic sign.
(Maybe someone dropped them and a passerby thought the keys’ owner would have a better chance at recovering them if they were affixed somewhere not on the ground?)
On the clip are also two lanyards (not depicted) and each one is embroidered with a name. Knowledge of the names on the lanyards would prove exceptionally helpful in demonstrating that the keys belong to someone replying to this ad.
If you think these might be yours, a bestie’s, or someone you know, please reply so we can get to work reuniting the keys with their rightful owner!
I lost a small set of keys on Saturday around 6:00 pm on Columbia Road NW near intersection of 13th Street, but somewhere on the block toward 11th Street. The keys are a standard silver key (for my office), a Capital BikeShare Key, and a Fitness First member card.
Please reply if you have it. Your help is much appreciated!!
Just posting this in case there might be a lucky streak on my bad day. Between 1:10 and 1:40 my wallet was stolen while I was enjoying a Pizza at the &Pizza by the E Street Movie Theater after I got out of work from the DC Public Library. The folks who stole my wallet went on a bit of a shopping spree. I’m now missing all of my important cards and ID during the holidays. Thankfully I’m just staying in D.C. this year. If anyone happens to find a wallet somewhere between E Street and Chinatown let me know. I can provide a description but sadly not much of a reward can be given due to all of my accounts being drained. The wallet has a time-related theme and there is a police report filed.
Thanks PopVille Readers. Happy Holidays.
This morning around 9:05, I saw a pit bull running loose through the beach drive tunnel heading north, the dog was dragging a red leash behind.
My car was stolen from T & North Capitol St. between 9:00 and 9:15 am today, Monday 9/29. Attached is a picture. It’s a 2007 white Hyundai Elantra, Maryland tags, license plate 2BM3690. Witnesses say they saw 2 black males enter it.
When last seen, it had an Oberlin College Alumni sticker at the top of the rear window, an NPR decal in the lower left of the rear window, an EZ Pass in the front window, and a yellow parking permit sticker that says “76” in the driver’s side front window.
Please call the police if you see it.
This morning I found a very sweet young cat in our yard; she was scared and dehydrated and clearly domesticated. If you have lost her, please call / text (202) 560-0308.
Calico – tabby, female, about 1 year old, affectionate and litterbox trained.
We found a camera this morning in the snow in Rock Creek Park near Crestwood. It has several pictures of a couple and their dog from this morning. Send me an email if it’s yours.
