Everyone loves a good happy hour, and everyone loves a good cause! Come have a drink and join the Operation Underground Railroad and Javelin teams as they raise funds for upcoming missions! Feel free to share this and bring friends!
Who: Operation Underground Railroad – They are a group of highly trained ex-CIA, Navy SEALs, and Special Ops op experts who work to end child trafficking in the United States and abroad.
What: HAPPY HOUR – percentage of proceeds made during this will be donated to O.U.R. for future missions.
Where: Boundary Stone- 116 Rhode Island Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001
When: August 18, 2016
Why: 325,000 children are at risk for becoming victims of sexual exploitation just in the United States. O.U.R. works to rescue children trapped in sex slavery and spread awareness to lower the number exploited each year. Child sex trafficking is a difficult subject, but starting the conversation and raising money to help O.U.R. is just one way to make that conversation a little easier!

I am hosting a bachelorette party on a Thursday night in May and am planning to go out on U Street. Any recommendations for the best bars & clubs to go to? Probably will start out with some lower-key bars for drinks and then want to end up at places we can dance and be a little crazier as it gets later. What are the best places to hit? Also, considering starting with dinner somewhere. I will have a group of about 15. Any places in the U Street area that can accommodate a group that size that would be fun? Thanks!

I’m trying to plan my own tour of H street with a few friends this weekend. I’ve been to Star and Shamrock, Biergardenhaus, Little Miss Whiskeys and Rock and Roll hotel but what others would you suggest we stop at for a drink and maybe an app or two along the way?
