I think it’s standard practice that the train operator walks through the train both when they’re reversing the train and when it’s going out of service. I’ve definitely fallen asleep on the train and been woken up at it’s last stop or at the trun around. Never made it past that. (Yes, I fall asleep on the metro too frequently. Something about the motion and the orangy lights.)
