If you search here for “garage door” you will find 2 or 3 old threads that discuss this and I’m pretty sure someone listed the number for Pooner & Sons (and yes, if you walk down alleys you will find their work and the # is listed–they are easy to spot because they usually look better than anything else).
We have a standard garage door put onto a “frame” without the garage. It is a major pain–these devices were never meant to be exposed to the elements. I’m not sure if there is a way to weatherproof them but I’m not expecting mine to last through the winter–really shoddy work unfortunately (installed by people we bought the house from just last May). If you can afford it spring for the Pooner install (but per those old threads it can be $8k – $10k). Otherwise I wouldn’t waste your money on an electric garage door opener. Go for a manual–it will likely wind up being manual once the device inevitably fails to work.
