“On Saturday, May 7, 2016, the DC Funk Parade will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be several street closures that motorists should take into consideration:
Assembly Area
The parade will assemble in the 600 block of T Street, NW between Florida Avenue, NW & 7th Street, NW at 3:45 pm.
Parade Route
The parade will start at 4:00 pm in the 600 block of T Street, NW. The parade will travel along the following route:
West on T Street NW to Vermont Avenue, NW
Northeast on Vermont Avenue, NW to U Street, NW
West on U Street, NW to the 1200 block of U Street, NW where the parade will disband.
The parade route should be open to traffic by approximately 5:00 pm.”
