“The Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit seeks the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with an Assault with the Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse that occurred on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
At approximately 2:10 am, an adult female was walking in the 1800 block of T Street, Northwest, when an unknown suspect approached her, pushed her to the ground and grabbed the victim with the intent to sexually assault her. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot, eastbound in the 1800 block of T Street, Northwest towards 17th Street, Northwest.
The suspect is described as an adult male, black with a medium to dark complexion, an average build, and average height. He was wearing dark colored clothing, with a dark colored bandana covering the lower portion of his face. The suspect was also described as having a deep voice.
Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”
