CAVA coming to Union Station “in late 2017” also coming to H Street, NE and Navy Yard Too

“D.C-bred culinary force CAVA will begin serving its signature balanced-yet-craveable menu at a new location in Union Station later this year.

CAVA, which recently announced its Series C funding round of $30m, is planning to open more than 20 new restaurants in 2017, taking their footprint to over 40 locations nationwide, with the DMV a major focus for the company. In addition to Union Station in D.C., CAVA will open locations in Navy Yard and H Street NE this year.

With a new production kitchen in Laurel, MD, a new corporate office in Chinatown, and a home base to test new products like their collection of small-batch sauces, CAVA is committed to D.C., the community where both their founders and their business grew up.

“We are excited to introduce CAVA to even more busy travelers, laying the groundwork for our continued growth along the East Coast,” said CEO Brett Schulman. “As a homegrown D.C. brand, and with locations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and soon Boston, we’re proud to represent our hometown in one of the East Coast’s central transit hubs.”

Washington City Paper reported yesterday that they’ll be coming to the former ShopHouse space. All the other DC ShopHouse locations will become Bibibop restaurants.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
