The PoP Peep Project: “We the Peeple: 2017 Women’s March”

This recreation of the 2017 Women’d March combines two of my current favorite pastimes–arts and crafts and anti-Trump activism. I made a bunch of pink “pussyhats” for the real march, and had a lot of fun making miniature versions and engaging other like-minded knitters to contribute. The banner is a recreation of a much larger one that my twin boys and a bunch of their friends from school carried.”

All entries should be emailed to [email protected] with ‘The PoP Peep Project’ in the subject line. Please include a brief description about your entry and please include 2 photos, one closeup and one capturing the whole scene. Entries should be based on local topics of interest if possible and sent by the end of April. Depending on how many I receive, I’ll post all as I get them. I will then pick 5-10 finalists that you guys will vote on. I will take the winners out to dinner (courtesy Carmine’s Family Style Italian Restaurant) and drinks (unless the high school kids win, then just dinner.) I will also bury the winners (and 2nd and 3rd place) in PoPville t-shirts. Good luck!!
