  • Le Tour de France is coming and the mountain stages will be glorious!!!

  • Given that passes were “not on sale” at 12:02 yesterday and then “sold out” at 12:03, it’s looking like this outdoor display is the closest I’ll get to Infinity Mirrors . . . sigh.

  • Great for ticket scalpers though. Selling “free” museum entry tickets is a real growth industry in DC, between this and the African American Museum…

  • Has anyone had luck getting tickets? I’ve repeatedly failed. For several weeks at noon on Monday I’ve had 2 screens open and a fast finger on my mouse, but still no luck.
Something isn’t right or fair about this.

    • Surely this can be traced back to the nefarious Brianne Nadeau?

      Just kidding. 😉

    • Blithe

Nope, no luck. And I’m already somewhat miffed that people with access to high speed internet and flexible schedules already get an edge. Since the next two exhibits will be on the west coast, it’s possible that a lot of east coasters are trying to get tickets with a relatively short window of time. And, of course there are the ticket brokers…. grrrr. I’m actually thinking that trying to see it in Seattle might be easier.

    • Yes, I’m 4 for 4 on getting tickets. My trick has been to start refreshing at 11:58 and know what day I’m going to try for in advance. As soon as the site comes up, I hit the date (I’ve always picked a weekday), use the dropdown to request 2 tickets and leave the first available box checked. It’s worked every time.

    • I also had luck – just refresh, refresh, refresh starting a few minutes before noon.
