Ed. Note: Gentrification is the root of all urban evil is the most intellectually lazy argument one can make. Life and cities are full of nuance that cannot be captured by a single word. Complex problems require complex solutions and you do a disservice by oversimplifying the problem. It’s much more difficult than coming up with catchy slogans.
