From a press release:

“Dacha Beer Garden kicks off its 2017 season of sunshine and smiles under the violet gaze of gorgeous Liz. This season, Dacha introduces a new food menu, expands its drafts list, more wines, signature Dacha liquor cocktails and Radlers, plans for an array of special events, and a new brunch to launch later in March.

Dacha strives to provide unique and authentic experiences that excite patrons and reflect the incredible diversity of the proud and beautiful city. From #MadeinDC vendor markets, Dacha Beer Club, Monday wine tastings, Cause Tuesday fundraisers, and a new upstairs private events venue, returning and new patrons can expect another enchanting season in the garden abuzz with activity and merriment.

New food menu

Executive Chef Quinten Frye’s new menu is inspired by traditional beer garden fare with elevated and flavorful twists to spice up the palette and indulge curiosity. A pulled pork sandwich with curry B.B.Q. sauce, grilled chicken wings with a chile-maple glaze, and rabbit croquettes are just a few additions that will help satisfy the adventurism of a seasoned restaurant goer. A warm greens & grains salad, grilled veggie skewers, and beet fries will please any vegetarian. For pescatarian friends, the bucket of mussels returns to the menu with the addition of a refreshing tuna crudo served with crispy wonton chips and savory flash fried oysters with apple remoulade.

More drafts, cocktails and wines

This season, two national and two international breweries will be added to the draft lineup further strengthening Dacha’s outstanding draft beer selection. We are delighted to announce that Cologne, Germany’s own Brau Und Brunnen will bring Sion Kölsch to the garden. Dacha will be the 1st location in the United States to feature this authentic Kölsch.

Munich based Warsteiner Brauerei will feature their authentic Munich Dunkel Lager. Oregonian Ninkasi Brewing will bring Tricerahops – an incredibly balanced Double IPA. Stone Brewing returns to Dacha in force with its unbeatable lineup of IPAs. District favorites – DC Brau and Right Proper Brewing will continue their partnerships with Dacha.

“Few things are as enjoyable as sitting outside with the D.C. sun on your shoulders and D.C. breeze on your back while sipping on a high-quality D.C. brew. We are excited to continue to work with one of the district’s premier beer gardens and be a small part of the Dacha community we enjoy so much,” says Brandon Skall CEO and Founder, DC Brau.

New cocktail program will feature signature liquor concoctions such as a Dacha Mule and Sour Babs. A gamut of delicious Radlers will delight those who like to experiment and adventure; from the popular Schofferhofer Grapfruit and traditional Alster, to refreshing Dacha creations like the Lemonizer and Razzmatazz. Beer cocktails such as the TempeTantrum and Dolce Vita provide a variety, fizzy and fruity flavors.

Wine list is expanded to please wine lovers. From a delightful rosé or a fizzy Lambrusco on a beautiful summer afternoon to a well-balanced Sancerre and full-bodied Bordeaux with a weekday dinner, Dacha goers will be pleased to find a vintage to their liking. In addition to popular Veuve Clicquot and Piper Heidsciek champagnes, gorgeous Portuguese red, and superb Argentinian Malbec, wines like Tormentoso Pinotage from South Africa will be available exclusively at Dacha. The wine program is crafted and curated by Dacha’s in-house wine consultant Mariam ‘Raz’ Razavi of Wines by Raz.

“My goal this year was to match the expanded food menu, provide tasty pairing options, and introduce Dacha patrons to new and unique wines from around the world, ” explains Raz.
