From a press release:

“La Colombe is set to open its newest café in the nation’s Capital at 1710 I Street NW this February. The 990-square-foot café – located along Farragut Square – will neighbor the street’s new Sweetgreen and Taylor Gourmet locations. The leading coffee company, known for ethical and long-term trade practices with growers, is committed to a vision of bringing better coffee to more people.

“Farragut Square is constantly evolving. It has a busy weekday work scene and is now a go-to destination for weekends,” said JP Iberti, President and Co-Founder of La Colombe. “We are excited to be part of this renewed energy in the neighborhood.”

Farragut Square is a cornerstone of downtown DC. The center square attracts a bustling daytime crowd as it’s surrounded by major hotels, international businesses, news outlets and countless restaurants and retailers.

La Colombe is partnering with The Sweet Lobby to offer a wide range of pastries, breads, and other food items alongside La Colombe’s traditional and inventive coffee options, including the revolutionary Draft Latte©, which is served cold on tap or can be purchased in cans to-go.

The Draft Latte, which is available in original, vanilla, mocha and triple, comes directly from the mind of Todd Carmichael, CEO and Co-Founder La Colombe, who invented the process to create a ready-to-drink, textured coffee beverage with frothed milk, cold-pressed espresso, and no added sugar.

La Colombe works directly with coffee farmers to source the best tasting, most exotic, and rarest beans, and roasts them to accentuate their natural flavors.

La Colombe Farragut Square will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
