  • Awesome. I saw one this morning a little before 8 am flying around Franklin Square. Incredible.

  • I live in LeDroit Park and have seen two hawks — one that I think is a large immature red-tail, the other a smaller sharp-shinned — all over the neighborhood the past few weeks. Pretty sure I saw the two of them soaring together (playfully even?) over Logan Circle on my walk to work this morning. Absolutely mesmerizing to watch.

  • And props to your grandparents for making this possible!
