  • The fact that there’s a wine store literally right in front of this unit makes it a good deal

  • Cute place, if a bit small. I would hate for my apartment to face noisy Wisconsin Avenue though. If it faces the back of the building, then it’s a good deal.

  • Cute! Wouldn’t be my first choice for location, because (while lovely) that area is a little remote from the rest of DC, but for someone who works in/near Georgetown or Dupont Circle this would be pretty appealing.

  • OMG only 4 doors to Patisserie Poupon! I would die within a year from buttery delicious pastries. Seriously though, cute and right around the corner from Montrose Park.

  • Is bus service fairly frequent along that stretch?

    • It is! I live a bit further north, in Glover Park. I found an incredible apartment at a price I couldn’t beat, and though I was concerned about living somewhere not metro accessible, this really hasn’t proven to be a problem! This location, in particular is very well connected. The four 30- MetroBus lines run up and down Wisconsin, to Penn, and off to various parts of downtown and beyond. The circulator takes you to Union Station. If you walk down to Q, the D2 takes you straight to Georgetown, the D6 all the way to Stadium-Armory. And finally, by walking down to Dumbarton, you can pick up the G2 to take you all the way down P, through 14th/Logan and ends in Ledroit Park.

I’ve been in my place for 2+ years now, and though I need to add in a little extra time for travel, I can appreciate that the buses can take me to almost anywhere I’d like to go.

Yes. People immediately write off Glover Park / North Georgetown because they are “remotely” but they are fairly well covered by bus routes.
