From a press release:

“DC-based wedding startup Pop! Wed Co. has opened the district’s first get-married-anytime, secular wedding “chapel”. Not getting married, but just want to visit? Stop by any Friday in November between 12-7pm for a drink and a tour!

You may know Pop! Wed Co. from their guerilla-style popup weddings at downtown museums, or their collaborations with beloved local establishments like DC Brau and Miss Pixie’s. Now, the wedding startup is opening their own bright, fun, styled wedding headquarters to host the most fun tiny weddings in the city — and maybe, on the planet.

The new wedding venue is part of DC’s Off the Beaten Track Warehouse, a community of artists in the heart of Northeast DC. Other tenants include florists and a letterpress studio, so couples can get almost anything they’d need for a wedding right at the Warehouse. [2414 Douglas St, NE]

“Many of our couples want to have a Pop! Wedding, but also want to include their immediate families — which can easily top 15 people, a larger group size than a traditional popup wedding,” says co-founder Maggie Winters Gaudaen. “So, we designed our new space to accommodate up to 20 guests, plenty of space for a few of your favorite people!”

Want to get married at the new Pop! Wed space? If you bring your own marriage license, you can get married today*! The secular Humanist chapel will be open every Friday from noon to 5pm, as well as by appointment.

*Depending on our team’s availability, of course. Check out our website or contact us for more details. “

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
