Some Days We are the Hawk and Some Days We are the Pigeon

Thanks to Ryan for sending yesterday:

“This guy (gal?) dive-bombed a pigeon at the Navy Memorial when I was eating lunch. He carried it from the memorial to the grass near the metro exit.”

  • An unfortunate metaphor today.

  • I feel more like sidewalk entrails.

  • Oh, wow. I once saw a hawk fly in front of me and then dive bomb a chipmunk. It then flew to a large oak tree where it commenced devouring its prey. Though the area was full of people, I was the only one who seemed to notice it. Ah, college days. I’ll keep my eyes out for this one next time I’m at Navy Memorial.
