  • This would be a decent value if I had a roommate — it’s kind of charming. But what’s with having only a washer and no dryer? It looks like the washer I currently have, not the kind that does both. Odd.

    • The listing says washer/dryer combo… Not sure, pics don’t show up for me (rarely do).
Agree on it being a pretty decent price; not the location I’d want to live in but certainly close to amenities.

    • Yea, that is odd, but I’ve seen newer all in ones that looked similar. Hard to tell from that angle. I’m more worried about it being 647 sq ft.

      • Yeah, I’m wondering how they squeezed two bedrooms into 647 square feet.

        • Very good point. Perhaps more of a 1 bedroom + den situation.

          • Looks like it from the photos. Only one of the second “bedroom” from what I can tell, and it doesn’t appear to have windows. It also looks like the second bedroom door takes up most of the only real wall in the living room, which would make the living area cramped, too. Still, the master appears to be a decent size, so for a couple that doesn’t spend a ton of time at home and likes the location, could be a pretty good deal.

          • Scratch that…you can tell in one of the living room photos that the second bedroom does have a window, so officially technically two beds. Rest of my comment stands, though.

          • Also, just for giggles, my building also had some odd, small layouts when it was sold by the developer about 8-9 years ago. At that time, there were 4 units in the building under 600 ft2 that were set up as 2-bedrooms. They’ve all had the walls (thankfully not load-bearing, so the owners could turn them into functional homes) knocked out to make them one-bedrooms since.
This is extra-special odd because my unit was always a 1-bedroom, but is both larger than those and would actually work better as a 2-bedroom than those units did (don’t get me wrong…it wouldn’t work *well* as a 2-bedroom, but it would be *better* as one than the smaller units that were 2-bedrooms, both on size and layout). Developers sometimes do *odd* things…
