From a press release:

“Join Red Wolf Imports and winemaker Charl Coetzee as they debut South Africa’s Babylonstoren wines in the District with a five-course, wine-pairing dinner at Dino’s Grotto in Shaw on October 18, 2016.

South African wine production is experiencing a generational shift with enthusiastic new producers and young winemakers pushing the boundaries of the formerly domestically-focused industry. Their wines tell the story of South Africa’s diverse climates and soils, while simultaneously setting the course for its future. Babylonstoren is at the forefront of this charge.

Charming Shaw bistro Dino’s Grotto and Red Wolf Imports have come together to give District residents a taste of South Africa’s wine revolution and the opportunity to talk to winemaker Charl Coetzee about Babylonstoren’s acclaimed wines and the rapidly evolving South African wine industry.

Already successful in a number of American cities, Babylonstoren is widely recognized for the ambition of its elegant, balanced wines.
